painting at the daycare all week

1/12/15 Day 61
Nathan worked at the daycare today and he is planning on being there all week.  He recently has been repainting on the inside of the building.  The kids and I visited for awhile with Delbert and Frieda this morning and we also had lunch with the ILPA team.  Please remember Frieda in your prayers as she has some kind of bone cancer and the doctors are trying to figure out where and how to best treat her....for now she has been getting regular blood transfusions.  Our highlight this evening was going over to Susanna's house for supper.  She is the one in charge of the daycare and is taking over Frieda's position of running this ministry.  Our kids really got to know her well the first couple of weeks we were here as we went to the daycare often.  We had an amazing meal of pizza, hamburgers, salad and potatoes with them and fruit/icecream for dessert.  Our kids then played soccer with their three teenage sons while we talked and hung out.  We walked home then about midnight.

1/13/15 Day 62
Nathan worked this morning at the daycare and then for lunch Juan and Ami took us to Beltran for a lunch invitation.  We were invited to Clavio's farm house for lunch.  We saw his farm and all of his animals and then had lunch with his family.  His wife served us an amazing meal and we stayed well into the afternoon visiting.

1/14/15 Day 63
Nathan worked at the daycare again and we had lunch with the ILPA team again.  This evening we walked to the West zone church for their prayer meeting.  Juan preached about the cost of following Jesus and the dangers of being lukewarm.

1/15/15 Day 64
Nathan has been getting alot of work done at the daycare.  I'll have to post some pictures of the progress next week as I don't have any pics right now.  We tried to survive the heat today and find some creative things for the kids to do.  This evening Nathan and I went out on a date night while Elizabeth so graciously babysat for us.  We had a wonderful evening together and it was such a blessing to have some "you and me alone time."  It never happens so it felt very refreshing.

1/16/15 Day 65
Nathan worked all day at the daycare and while he was gone Lydia burned up the washing machine (not on purpose), Jayvin cut his hair (on purpose), and Liam strung out all of the toilet paper rolls in the church bathroon.  I'm having a hard time keeping up with three busy children today.  I decided to take them to the park to burn some energy and get away from all of the crazy.

1/17/15 Day 66
This morning was much cooler with a little rain and it is a welcomed relief.  Nathan tried to figure out what was wrong with the washing machine and we did some odds and ends around the house.  Nathan and Jayvin also went to Delbert and Frieda's house to mow their lawn.  This afternoon Nathan went to the daycare to paint with a group of people that came to help as well.

1/18/15 Day 67
Each church zone met in their own building this morning for worship time.  We went to the central church worship service and then for lunch with went with Elizabeth to Estella's farm.  We had lunch with her and her daughter (who is 12 years old), talked for awhile and then she took us to a town close by called Pamona.  Here the Rio Negro is not nearly as turbulant as it is in Choele Choel and so we played in the park there and then swam in the river.  It was a very fun, relaxing afternoon/evening of playing and hanging out with Estella.

**Sorry for no pictures this week.  I'm not sure why I neglected to take any.  I'll try to do better next week:)
